Trying to disable the Contribution Amount but it doesn't get its value
May 15, 2012, 09:49:29 am
Im disabling the contributions amount in a contribution page because I want it to be automatically selected based on the answer of the user when is filling the form, so the user is not able to change the option of which one is selected. I could disable the radiobuttons on the contribution part of the page but the problem is that when the user clicks the button to submit the form civicrm says that is required to select how much the customer has to pay. I tried to enable the radiobuttons back and it seems like now it's taking the contribution amount selected even if the person filling the form doesn't change the values in it. I wonder if there's a work around to accomplish this, I would appreciate any help on this.

By the way the URL of the page Im working on is here: http://ceacisp.dreamhosters.com/civicrm/contribute/transact?reset=1&id=6&action=preview
Thank you

zafar

I think you have to hide it just. Not remove.
Use jquery or css to hide it.
do not remove the element in file or by jquery.

I don't want to hide it. I want the user to be able to see what's the charge is according to the membership he is selecting.
