Will upgrading 4.1.1 to 4.1.2 solve CiviMail issue?
May 21, 2012, 08:48:38 am
We upgraded to 4.1.1 last month and since then have needed to manually trigger the mail scheduler, even though it's been set and configured properly. Will upgrading to 4.1.2 solve this problem? Are there any considerations to make prior to upgrading to the most recent release? Normally we have a contractor do our upgrades, but we're hoping to be able to do this one in-house as it doesn't seem to have that many changes. We are running the latest version of Joomla 2.5. I would appreciate any feedback! Thanks!

DO the upgrade on a test site first and see ow it goes

Note that the 4.1 series changed the cron scripts and users had to modify their scripts (was a major warning in the upgrade). Please do ensure you'll have updated the scripts as needed

Duly noted, thank you! I believe our contractor took care of the cron scripts - I mentioned it to them and they are usually quite thorough. Just a bit expensive for small updates :)
