Upgrade Civicrm 3.4.4 & costume payment extensions

Hi there,

I need to upgrade from Civicrm 3.4.4 to the latest one and need to know the following.

I have 2 costume payment extensions, will these be preserved like custome fields when i do an upgrade or do i have to add them again?
