Problems with CiviContribute and membership end date
May 21, 2012, 07:05:30 pm
I have a contribute page that has the membership section enabled, and has only one membership options, which is set up to have a $10 a year membership.

When I use this in test mode everything seems fine. I get the paypal form, can fill it out, submit it, get the response telling me my payment is processed. Everything seems to work great. But when I pull up the membership for the user that just paid I notice that the end date hasn't changed at all. Does this just not update in test mode? Is there a way to verify that everything is working without spending real money?

Bump?

Is there any way to test that a payment workflow is working correctly before making it live?

When you add a membership via the backend are the end dates correct? i assume you are talking about a renewal?

also we often just put up a $1 version and test with real cards ;-)
