May 25, 2012, 08:19:59 am
Hello everybody,
I am pretty desperated in here... some help would be Wonderful!

I was installing Civi CRM last version on Joomla 1.7.2, something went wrong (the server went down momently) and the instalation didnt finished.

I delete all the civicrm component folder as told in the installation guide and start again the process but then a problem appear

Component Install: DB function reports no errors

And onbvoiusly the component dint worked.

I checked de DB and all teh civicrm tables was there, but I cant delete most of them due to Foreign Keys constraints... Its desperating because if I didnt delete them, the error continue appearing when trying to install.

Anyone could help?

Thanks in advance

in your distributions there is a script called: sql/civicrm_drop.mysql

you'll need to load that into your mysql civicrm db, either via the mysql shell or command line. This should drop all the civicrm tables. Use with care
