more then 2 dates for an event - realisable with subevents ?

In our case we have workshops taking place on 2 days or more. If a participants registers for a workshop he/ she takes part on each of the days. The Problem is, that you have only 2 dates for an event: start and end date.

Is there a way to realise this with sub-events? I tried it already, but on the website the user can only see the date of the main event.

Thank you for your answeres!
