Civi 4.1, Views 3, Contact Image Field, Oh Contact Image Field.

Quick One:

Currently the Civi's Views integration provides the contact image_URL with no issue. What I usually do is turn the URL into a URI, then pass it to imagecache and write out the <IMG> tag manually.

Now though, I am trying to get a slideshow module going that depends on the field being an "Image" field, rather than a string.

I have not yet delved into the Views back-end, but I'm wondering if this is something that is perhaps on the roadmap, or something that I could speak to one of you super Civi Dev's about working on together perhaps?

Cheers,
-D
