Menu Bar Issue, text is hidden

After upgrading, the menu bar is not displaying properly. I have attached a screen shot. What could be causing this?

Joomla! 2.54 CiviCRM 4.1.2

Did you delete your templates_c directory? And use shift-refresh?

I do not see that directory and have never heard of the KB command of Shift Refresh either on a PC or a Mac.

Did all that and restarted computer and nothing changed. I tested in Safari, FireFox and Chrome - all the latest versions for Mac OS X 10.7.4.

What else do I need to look at?

I started to delete items from the navigation menu so now I only have home, administer and help and the navigation bar is now displaying properly.

How do I reset the navigation bar back to default values?

Seems from http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php?topic=12557.0 that you must do that directly in the MySQL DB.
