Custom Data Shows in Search Results Column, but not Detail View

I created a custom data set and added it to a profile. If I check the box to show in the search results column, the data shows in all columns. However, if you select one of the data sets and click View, the resulting detail profile screen does not show all the data. See attached screen shots.

Joomla 1.7
Civi 4.0.8

can you check on the 'fields' in the Profile and confirm you have them set the same in terms of 'searchable/listings' etc

yes, they are identical in every way - The profile contains:

Chapter President
President Email
Chapter Representatives 1-6

The only searchable field is Organization Name, the rest are just for 'show'.  :-\
