Hi,

I sent a 'mass mail' to the contacts listed in an Advanced Search, and the email went to a contact's Primary email address rather than their Bulk Email address.

This strikes me as wrong, but before I dive into reproducing the problem and seeing if it's a bug, what do people think?

Should the email go to the Bulk or the Primary address? Is the use of the Primary address a bug or a feature?

It's a CiviMail (the sent mailing is listed under Scheduled and Sent Mailings) but sent from an Action attached to the results of a Search.

To the contact receiving the email, it appears like a CiviMail with unsubscribe links etc.

(The reason I saw this was a contact told me 'use this other address' a second time, when I'd changed his record to use the Bulk Email address on a previous occasion.)

I'm just asking to know if CiviCRM is doing what's expected here.
