Good Day,

We have a baffling problem:

Client is trying to export data from a Smart Group listing, but the "Organization" field is empty on the export (there is a header in the exported csv file called "organization - unforunately, there is never any data in it).

We must be doing something wrong - In order to create any type of mailing list or hard copy contact list, the Organization *has* to be available (can't just send a letter to an address with no company name, right)?

I've seen what appear to be similar posts, but since I'm new to this, I'm assuming they can't be posting about the same issue - this seems to be a fundamental piece of data, and there has to be a way to export it, especially since I *can* see a contact's company info when I look at their contact information. The company name *is* connected.

Hopefully, it's a simple setting I'm missing.

BUT, assuming I'm not missing a setting and this is somehow not possible, what do you do to include the company info on any type of export?

Ahh, so it is the same problem . Are you saying you were able to write some sql that did enable the export? 

Client needs this in a bad way (we're still in development, but cliient is using the database for offline contacting, i.e., mailing lists and such).
