I am having trouble locating documentation that states clearly on how to enable members to pay an annual membership due on a recurring monthly basis. Due to associated transaction fees with the payment processor (Authorize.Net) the monthly fee sum over a 12 month period needs to be a higher amount than a one-time fee for the same membership. Could someone please explain the best option to achieve this function or if it is even possible. Thanks in advance.

As no-one else seems to have an answer..
My immediate thought is that you can't do an annual renewal split over 12 payments. You can either have annual renewals, or monthly renewals.
I've come across issues like this elsewhere, we just had to set up monthly renewals and take the hit if someone cancelled after 2 months. We couldn't find anyway of enforcing a minimum 12 month period
