This may be the same issue as http://forum.civicrm.org/index.php/topic,24667.msg103848.html but I didn't want to hack that post in case.

I am on 3.4.8 and have added

define( 'CIVICRM_DEBUG_LOG_QUERY', 1 );

define( 'CIVICRM_DEBUG_LOG_QUERY', 'backtrace' );

to my civicrm.settings.php file. I've cleared drupal caches and done directoryCleanup on civi. I see that civi has files/civicrm/templates_c/ConfigAndLog created, which is all looking correct here: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC40/Debugging

However, no log files are getting created. Permissions look good on the directories. I have debugging and backtrace on as well.

Do I need to do something else to get the log file written?
