Timestamps incorrect

Has anyone else noticed that timestamps of activities and scheduled jobs are always wrong?  I'm in the UK, so it's possible that the problem is more apparent here, rather than in the US.

At present (during the summer) the UK time is GMT+1. 

The scheduled jobs list timestamps are all incorrectly showing GMT (but the job log shows GMT+1 correctly).
All activities have a timestamp of GMT (wrong)
Change Log all show GMT (wrong)
I guess there must be other timestamps as well...

By the way, the time in Drupal correctly shows GMT+1. Probably not possible to sandbox this problem, as the sandbox is in the US?

where is your server located? in the UK or outside?

might want to check the timezone in your php.ini. Civi does not handle timezones very well :( (IMO)

Here's some info from phpinfo.php... (longitude/latitude completely off!).  This shows UTC (aka GMT), but we are UTC+1.  My server is in the UK.  Interesting that the detailed scheduled jobs log shows time correctly as UTC+1, but everything else seems to show UTC.
