XML data could not be loaded. Make sure you specified the correct path
June 13, 2012, 08:43:23 am
Hi!
I had a CiviCrm installed perfectly on a sub-directory. Once I moved the test site to root, the CiviCrm did not work (blank page). My fault- I should have known better and followed the instructions.

But now I am trying to do a fresh and new installation. But all I get is this: XML data could not be loaded. Make sure you specified the correct path

I have searched and followed all the tips I have found:
1) deleted all the tables in database
2) re-installed a fresh new CiviCrm
3) all I get it this: XML data could not be loaded etc
4) deleted the files in   /media/civicrm/templates_c
5) UPDATE `civicrm_domain` SET `config_backend`=NULL ;

BUT stil error? Any ideas what to do?

Best from Joe

I found a sollution: I needed to change the paths in file: root/media/civicrm/ConfigAndLog/Config.IDS.ini

Very best!

Actually when you move a site you can (and usually must) delete ConfigAndLog/Config.IDS.ini . It's safe to do that.
