Process transactions from credit card on backend only?

We're about to launch an annual campaign using CiviCRM. I foresee a scenario in which some donors may want to send us credit card information (on payment) to process a single or recurring donation, without doing it online themselves. At my previous institution, we had a credit card machine, and we just processed those transactions by hand and then marked them paid in CiviCRM. At my current institution, this is not currently an option for a variety of reasons.
Is there any payment processor that, working with CiviCRM, will allow us to enter the credit card information to process payment? Or are we stuck directing anyone who wishes to pay/donate via credit card to do so online?

If you go to a Contact's record and click on the Events tab you will see "Click Submit Credit Card Event Registration to process a new New Registration on behalf of the participant using their credit card. "

That's how you do it. :)

I don't see this option in our 4.3.5 install, using PayPal Standard as payment processor.  :'(

If you had paypal pro, or another on-site payment processor, that form would be there for you.

In 4.4 it is possible to fill in contribution pages on behalf of someone else (without logging out) by adding 'cid=0' into the url.
