Drupal 7 Site Already Built, CiviCRM to handle backend?
June 14, 2012, 02:58:19 am
Hello all,

My organization is looking for a way to neatly handle member subscriptions, both annual payments and the generation of an .csv. We have just built a new site on Drupal 7 (our old site was on Drupal 6). My question regarding CiviCRM is if I can integrate it into our existing site, or if it is more of a 'ground up' module.

While I don't mind changing how the site currently functions, I have built it precisely the way the EC wants it to look. So if possible, I would like a backend that would simplify handling the membership database.

Cheers!

Absolutely. Just install it and it won't even affect your public site. You can then choose how to integrate what aspects you want. You can easily just expose the membership part and CiviCRM respects the look of your site so you should be fine.
