I am trying to set Civicrm with the versions above, but get the following errors:http://paste.ubuntu.com/1047095/. any idea what is going wrong?

Are you certain about your PHP version? Those look like PHP 5.4 messages. CiviCRM is not (yet) compatible with PHP 5.4.

CiviCRM v4.2 will work on PHP 5.4
