Error after upgrade

Hi,

I just upgraded from 4.1.2 to 4.1.3 and all of a sudden our mailer doesn't work. Error I'm getting:

authentication failure [SMTP: Invalid response code received from SMTP server while sending email. This is often caused by a misconfiguration in Outbound Email settings. Please verify the settings at Administer CiviCRM >> Global Settings >> Outbound Email (SMTP). (code: 535, response: Authentication failed for Mailsender - authflat/cram-md5 - wrong password)]

Nothing changed on my end. I then tried to log into our CiviSMTP account but couldn't. I went through the Request New Password function, got the message that instructions were sent to my email address but nothing arrived. That was about 8hrs ago.

Not sure what to do at this point, but we have urgent mail to send to our members.

Hi,

all is functioning fine on our end.  both sending email and resetting a password.

what is your account name so I can reset your password.

Hi,

I'm getting the exact same message again. Is there any reason why these keep changing? Cuz now I can't send mail again, and I haven't been in those settings after resetting the password the previous time.

Weird.

Can it be reset again?

your password has been reset.  I sent a message.

We do not know why your password would change and no one else is having this issue.  please let us know if this continues to happen.

was this problem fixed? i have same issue. triple checked everything and all the "test" options say everything is working properly but still when i submit a profile on the front end i received this error:


The mail library returned the following error message:

Same here civi 4.1.5
error is "

Don't know how to retrieve full error message

test settings from civismtp site work fine

have mass of mailings to do

found the rest of the error message by increasing the field length

"Failed to send data [SMTP: Invalid response code received from SMTP server while sending email. This is often caused by a misconfiguration in Outbound Email settings. Please verify the settings at Administer CiviCRM >> Global Settings >> Outbound Email (SMTP). (code: 451, response: Queuing declined or disabled; try again later)]"

So having searched the forums I learn it's a size thing - the 100k limit imposed by civismtp

so I've started a new  thread....

The Limit has been raised to 1 MB.  this should help your problem.  let us know.
