I have an event that uses a price set.

The first field is a radio button and set to the price of the ticket $10
The second field is a text input box, with a denomination of 1$. This is called Donation. The idea is, if the user wants to buy a ticket and donate extra to the cause, they can.

However, if the user inputs 0 int the donation box, then confirmation screen still shows $1.

Is it possible to have an input box where the user can enter a value from 0-whatever and have this included with the event fees.

btw the donation field, is not set to required

This approach should work. I just did a simple setup as you described on Drupal demo and it seems to work as expected.
