Can't send mail from core function or CiviMail
June 26, 2012, 11:19:01 am
Hey folks. I just upgraded from Civi 4.0.4 and Joomla 1.6.3 to the current versions (Civi 1.4.3 and Joomla 2.5.6). Now my mail system doesn't work. It worked fine on the test server upgrade.  I'm noobie. Not sure where to look first. Any ideas? Is there a mail log I can take a look at?

I'm using "mail()" for my outbound mail setting. The test email does get delivered, but only because it's being delivered to the same server on which Civi is installed. No email sent to an address outside the server gets delivered. Here's the header from the test mail. (I use gmail to fetch my mail off the server.)
