Error trying to edit custom fields in tabs
June 27, 2012, 08:26:56 am
Hi.

Some of my profiles use custom fields grouped in tabs which allow multiple entries.

This has been working fine but something has gone wrong as now when I click on the tab/s they display the last entry, but no longer show the 'add new' record button. Additionally when I click to edit the fields I get the following error...

Quote
Method Not Implemented
GET to /reports/administrator/ not supported.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Currently running v4.1.2 on Joomla 2.5.6.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Ian.

hmm, i dont think civi profiles every allowed custom fields that can have multiple entries (though it is quite a commonly requested feature)

i suspect there is some custom code involved on your site

Hi!

It's a standard feature - I just think I'm explaining myself very badly!

I have a Custom Field Group (called 'Risk Assessment') which is set to 'Allow Multiple Entries' and set as a 'Tab' and linked to 'Contacts'.

When I open the tab and click 'Edit Risk Assessment' it brings up the error page, whereas it would normally allow me to edit all the fields and/or add a new record set.

I've put a couple of screen shots on to try to show where I mean.

Cheers,

Ian.

The only thing that has changed on the site (about 1 month ago) is that we activated an SSL certificate. I've been through and tried turning off all the 'https' references, but it doesn't help.

Admin is under reports/administrator.

The site is setup only to be used in the backend, just for CiviCRM. Additional 3rd party extentions are: Akeeba Backup, Admin Tools, RSFirewall and Re-Direct On Login. These have all been running since the site went live.

Sorted!

Nothing wrong with Civi - had a message from my host asking me to try it again and it's working properly now. I guess they had to re-do something server-side that wasn't loading up correctly.

Thanks for trying to help me figure it out. As usual, Civi was working fine!

Cheers,

Ian.
