export
June 27, 2012, 11:48:35 am
good afternoon.

i run a membership based organization.  i have exported my membership information to .xls.  i assign categories to each member.  eg:  timmy's creamation services is the member, timmy's category is "specialty services."

when i export my data using the export utility, i can't seem to get the associated category information to come out.

can you provide any advise on how to accomplish this?  can i use sql to gather the information, then export it?

your assistance is appreciated.

You can create a custom export during the export process. After you select your contacts and choose to export them, you need to choose "select fields for export" and then click "continue". That will give you the option to create a custom field mapping. Good luck.
