Problem with viewing activity types

On our Civicrm database we are having problems viewing one of our activity types.  It's a non standard activity that we've added specifically for our organisation.  The SQL data is still there and under activities it still registers that there are some but when you try to view there are don't show. Any ideas as to what's going wrong?  I can create new activities too but they don't show up either...  There is nothing in the error log or reports.  Seems like an odd problem with no easy fix....  :-\

Check for forum posts about activities not showing - I think there have been issues reported related to "special characters" in the activity type label or possibly in the subject. (e.g. single quotes, etc.)

Sorted I checked to see what others did and just changed the name of a file.   Thanks for the push in the right direction ;D
