CyberSource as a Payment Processor

Has anyone tried to configure CiviCRM to use CyberSource as a Payment Processor?

http://apps.cybersource.com/library/documentation/sbc/HOP_UG/html/

It is a payment processor offered by the bank my organization does business with.

From what I've read CyberSource supports recurring/subscription billing and this would be something I'd like to take advantage of.

Folks have asked about this in the past - but we're not aware of anyone actually working on it. If you decide to work on this - feel free to ping us on IRC if you need assistance beyond the info here:

An organization that I am helping needs CyberSource to work with the latest Joomla/CivicRM versions.
Does anyone have this working yet and willing to share?
Anyone available to do it for pay?

I could probably do it. I've done others (two of which are now part of civi)

A few questions :

- do you want hosted or ssl (ie. you have an ssl cert and collect details vs collection hosted on the processor's web site)

- do you require recurring payments (from the thread the processor supports it but is it part of what you want to pay for)?

- do you have developer account set up (some developer accounts can be painful to get set up so it's better to have one before you pay anyone to do development)

- if you are on a tight budget you might be better to state what you are able to spend up front & what the cause is (if it's a good one.)

Thank you for your quick response.
Excellent questions..your experience is showing!

I will get those answers for you today.

The "cause" is the International Children's Art Festival
This info from last year...http://www.artsfairfax.org/festival/2005Festival/2005festival_index.shtml

Budgets have been cut this year, and yet, with more volunteers and automation....we are determined to put on the best event ever.

Volunteers (such as myself) feel strongly that automating a direct-purchase option is necessary, so we don't have a budget - perhaps you could throw out a range? I imagine this is a one-day or less job? Perhaps I am wrong.

We would, of course, share what we buy/make with the open-source community.

Thanks again for replying..I am off to call everyone at home to get your answers. LOL
