I created a copy of an event. Then tried to delete it.

Then a message comes up: This event cannot be deleted because there are participant records linked to it.

But when I check the view participants, there aren't any, which
is true, because no one has signed up for it.

How to delete the event?

Go to Find Participants search form and check for any participants of the events, and delete those first before attempting to delete the event.

But if you are not getting any participant results from the above criteria, you might wanna search for test participants by checking the checkbox for "Find Test Participants?" and then delete any test participants if any.

I found a solution.

I used "Advanced search" and found the "deleted paticipants".
