Confirmation email has incorrect information

Hi,

we use a profile that collects an organisation name from the participant, the correct information is then displayed on the confirmation sign up page, but when the participant receives the confirmation email (in some cases) the organisation has changed to one very similar (using the first 12 -15 letters the same).

Also when we enter the participants contact record we cam see a relationship has been created with the incorrect organisation. We've tried turning off duplicate checking but this seems to have no effect.

Has anyone seen anything like this before?

We're using 4.1.2
