Register more participants after you've already registered yourself?

Our organization president registered online for an upcoming event of ours. After registering and getting a confirmation email, she decided she wanted to register and pay for a couple more people. She returned to the registration page, put in her information again, and got an error message: "Oops, you are already registered..."

What must I do in order to allow people to return at a later time and register more participants using the same email address?

I currently have "Register multiple participants" and " Allow multiple registrations from the same email address" checked. I have included an "Attendee Information" and "Additional Attendee" profile with First and Last Name.

Currently i'm pretty sure civievent does not allow folks to come back and register again (for one or more people) with the same email address.

Parvez did some work on this for 4.2 - I'm not 100% sure the scope but I think he blogged about it?

I think you can, I do remember having the same issue as you, but in my current testing, I am ordering many tickets using the same email address.

Civievent > configure > online registration

check the box
"Allow multiple registrations from the same email address?"

I did have trouble with this originally setting it to an existing event as the event was not updating to any changes made (some caching issue I assumed). As I was only testing, I recreated the event and checked this box from the get go and now can register as many people as I like from one email address.

You did not answer the verification questions correctly - sigh

Pending participant expiration
to 15 days,
will CiviEvent/Online Registration allow registering additional participants paid by same credit card and billing email?

CiviCRM 4.1.3

I know this is an old topic but I have run into the same problem in 4.1.3. Has this been fixed in a later release? I have checked the box to allow multiple registrations from the same email address but when a user forgot to register his wife for an event, I told him to go back and register again. He tried to use the same email address and got the Oops error.

In recent versions, users will see an option to 'register another participant' - which links to the event/register path with cid=0 added to the query string.
