I'm trying to force event attendees to sign up with a Drupal account at the same time as register for an event, but when I hit 'continue' the form just reloads instead of going to the confirm page.

Background: I have a profile with email address field, set to "Drupal account creation required" in advanced settings. The profile is included in the Event's online registration page.

If an account already exists then they can register for an event. The problem only occurs when I try to create an account on the event registration form. On 'submit' the page reloads and returns to the registration form. No errors in the message log or onscreen. Just doesn't do it.

Anyone come across this or know why this doesn't work?

Thanks for the link. It's interesting that other people are having similar problems. Unfortunately, the workaround on that thread (require email verification) did not work in my case. Nor am I getting any visible errors coming out.

To clarify & simplify, this is the basic problem:

I can't require Drupal account creation with event registration. Pressing 'continue' just reloads the same page. No errors in logs.

Anybody able to help?
