Summary Overlay shows no data

Hey Community,

I'm having some trouble viewing data in the "summary overlay" (pop up box that appears when you hover over a contact's icon). I can only view this data if I edit the "summary overlay" profile and make its fileds viewable by the "public". If I leave it as "user and user admin" the pop up displays the lables with no corresponding data. This is happening when logged in to my drupal site as the super user with all civicrm permissions.

What am I missing here? ???
