Problem with Profile Contact Form

I have created a contact form using profiles to add to our website. I used the note field as the contact comment section on the profile. I am having the profile notify an internal email address once it is filled out. The problem is when it is filled out and submitted if the user already exists in the system and they already have notes, it doesn't email the current note that was just submitted, it picks an earlier note. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

most likely this is a bug and probably due to the fact that a user can have multiple notes.

Would be great if you can investigate and submit a patch that addresses and fixes the issue
