CiviEvent and Wordpress - Event Registration Page Issues
July 26, 2012, 07:37:13 am
Hi-
I got everything configured with CiviCRM and Wordpress and created a test event.

I put the test event info page at:
"website address"/events/test-event/

However, when I click Register Now - it goes to:
"website address"/?page=CiviCRM&q=civicrm/event/register&id=1&reset=1
which just brings me back to my homepage.

I am currently using permalinks as "post name" Ex: "website address"/sample-post/
instead of the default "post-id" Ex: "website address"/?p=123

If I change the permalinks back to the default, everything works as it should -- is there anyway to configure this to use permalinks as i have it configured?

for the 4.1.x series, your best bet would be to use the default settings

hopefully a few WP/Civi developers can get the whole permalink setting working in all its various combinations for civi 4.2 + wp 3.4
