CiviMail tokens - inconsistent results in HTML & Plain text messages
August 08, 2012, 08:10:08 am
Hi

I am developing a 'data verification' mailing which contains three inserted tokens - email, phone & current employer.  The hope is that with the information shown in an email, it will encourage contacts to click on a profile link to update/amend their details.

I have sent test mailings to two different addresses with one being received in HTML and one in plain text.  In the plain text email received, all three tokens converted to the info held in Civi but in the HTML email, only the email address was filled in.

Can anyone explain why the tokens are not presenting consistent information?

Thank you
