Install error
August 09, 2012, 08:08:00 am
I've just manually installed the modules not the full distribution. I'm getting the following error, and can't seem to get it resolved

Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'IDS/Init.php' (include_path='.../sites/all/modules/civicrm/drupal/modules/civicrm_engage/:.:/.../sites/all/modules/civicrm:/.../sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /.../sites/all/modules/civicrm/CRM/Core/IDS.php on line 74

Any help much appreciated  ;D

You can not install CiviCRM like any other Drupal module. You must use the built in installer. Please read the documentation here: http://wiki.civicrm.org/confluence/display/CRMDOC41/Installation+and+Upgrades

Installed from scratch using the module install as suggested now I'm getting this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare ctools_export_ui_process() (previously declared in /.../sites/all/modules/civicrm_starterkit/modules/contrib/ctools/includes/export-ui.inc:13) in /.../profiles/recruiter/modules/ctools/includes/export-ui.inc on line 363

I'm using the eRecruiter distribution which is now causing problems.

And this one 2:
Fatal error: require_once(): Failed opening required 'CRM/Core/ClassLoader.php' (include_path='.:/.../sites/all/modules/civicrm:/home/vegasi1/.../sites/all/modules/civicrm/packages:.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /.../sites/default/civicrm.settings.php on line 282

Any advice?

Any advice? Yes, try the vanilla Drupal distribution. :)

Unfortunately that's not an option as it's a recruitment website where we need CRM functionality. Any ideas how else I can resolve this issue?
