Should logged-in users information pre-fill registration forms?
August 09, 2012, 11:55:19 am
We're using the latest version of Joomla with CiviCRM 4.1.5. We've noticed for a while that when are users are logged in, the only information that populates the event registration forms is their name and email address. This is causing problems with our data, since whatever they enter overwrites what's in the database and we have to go back and correct it. Is this information supposed to be showing up for logged-in users? If so, any ideas of ways I could troubleshoot to try and understand why it's not? Thanks in advance!

Yes if you are logged in and you try to register for an event it assumes that you want to register and populates logged in users information.

If you want to register for someone else then use the link ( want to register a different person ), shown on top of the registration page.

check http://drupal.demo.civicrm.org/civicrm/event/register?id=3&reset=1 ( make sure you are logged in )
