Discounting additional participants

Hi folks,
I wanted to know if there is a feature for discounting additional participants when someone registers more than one person.

I looked through Price Set options but didn't see anything like this, and after digging around in general I figured it might be good to ask.

Here's an example of what I mean:
Price option 1 - Standard Ticket (Single Individual) - $45
Price option 2 - Family Ticket (2 - 4 people in family) - $45 for main person, $25 for each additional person.

Here's another example:
Price option 1 - Standard Ticket (Single Individual) - $30
Price option 2 - Two for One Ticket (2 people) - $15 each, $30 total.

Is something like this possible?

I just found reference to CiviDiscount. I read through various posts about it, but didn't see any mention of Wordpress installations... just Drupal and Joomla.

I looks like CD was developed to do something very much along the lines of what I was looking for. So I gather this functionality is not already part of CiviCRM.

Where do I look to find status info for CiviDiscount (if it's ready, if it runs on WP, etc)?

Yes, CiviDiscount will work with WP and Joomla in v4.2 and later

however the module is not complete and has a few reported bugs. Would be good if a developer interested in it can help fix things and/or sponsors work on improving the module
