Pay Later option causes "500" error (Closed - no longer recurring)

The Pay Later option is throwing a "500" error on two separate Contribution pages.

One is setup to taken in Membership Dues, the other is setup for an event.    The system will record the dues 'pay later' payment, or the event 'pay later' payment, but the user gets a "500" error, and thus tries to resend the transaction again.

I've not touched the standard forms in any way other than change background colors.   Anyone have any ideas.

Just installed 4.1.5 about two weeks ago don't recall if this happened under 4.1.2.

UPDATE:  The 500 error pages lists this error: 
Passed array does not specify a callable static method

Continued searching the forums for "500 error" brought me to a thread from March of this year where the person turned OFF the attachment of PDFs for receipts.

I did that, and the system worked as it should without errors.     I have NOT seen this error occur from contributions made via PayPal, so the issue seems to be confined to the 'Pay Later' receipts.

Since no receipt is created for a Pay Later, could that be the issue.  The system is trying to create a receipt from data that is not there, or it is trying to create an INVOICE from a template that is not available?

Thanks for any assistance you may be able to provide.

dont see how that forum topic is related to this, but

i've seen the below in other forum topics. Since you can reproduce it, can you please try to trace the error and try to figure out what is happening and why. If not a developer, might want to check with your consultant/integrator

Sorry for the two year delay.  I had forgotten I started this after the '500' errors stopped.  Not sure why, but figured I may as well close this.
