There seems to be a bug with the TinyMCE editor within the CiviEvents system (although it could affect other areas of CiviCRM, I did not test) with Firefox. Confirmed on demo with FF14. Other browsers (tested with Chrome and IE8) do not seem to suffer from the issue. The editor loads fine at first, when editing Info and Settings. After loading another tab and returning to the Info and Settings tab, TinyMCE will not load. Firebug presents the error:

To duplicate on demo: change the editor to TinyMCE; go to managing events; click on configure -> Info and Settings; click on any other tab; click on Info and Settings again.
