Switch from 12 to 24 hours clock

Dear CivCRM Community

I am attempting to change my Date Input Fields configuration from 12 to 24 hours clock. However, despite changing it to the 24 hours mode and saving the new settings, my installation continues with the old, 12 hours clock. Somehow I cannot save my changes.

My site is multi-lingual - could that be a problem? Has anybody experienced similar problems? Where in the code can I change these settings?

I appreciate your help!

Please reproduce this on the demo server and post here with "steps to reproduce"

Hello Adrian,

I had a problem with this on my 4.1 installation as well. After half a day of banging my head against the wall, I went back in and noticed that I had only Changed the Time format for the Time Only Field. I Changed it in the Complete Date and Time field and Haven't had any issues with the 12/24 hour clock since.

If this doesn't help, I would suggest doing as Coleman recommends and trying to reproduce the issue on the demo server. Take good notes and repost.  One thing to note however, is that the demo server you get to from the top of this page is the 4.2 demo. the 4.1 demo is here:

If you found a fix for your issue, please post it for the benefit of others.
