We noticed recently that the Recent Items list panel is not refreshing accordingly (or not as how we are used to seeing the refreshed list) after our upgrade from Civi 3.2 to 4.1.3.

I checked on the permission and block configuration (thru Administer) and it has the same setup as the older civi version that we are using.

We also noticed that when the Recent Items list refreshes, it lists contacts that were not searched or opened by the currently logged in user.  Before the upgrade, we see only the current user related contacts in the list. 

1. Is there any other settings that I should be checking aside from Administer permission and block?

2. Has there been a change in Civi 4.1.3 with regards to what should appear on the list - currently logged in user related contacts or contacts opened by any other logged in user.
