Select Fields to Export - slight tweak suggested
March 01, 2008, 01:24:55 pm
Hi - just wondering if there is any problem with your dropping a step out of this process?
At present if one wants to "Load Saved Field Mapping" we have to go through 3 clicks
- select field for mapping + COntinue
- load saved mapping field
- Mapping option + select

I can't see why the 'mapping option' field can't appear straight after we hit 'continue' rather than having to reload the page that has 'load saved mapping field' already on it.

Am I making my self clear? I think 'continue' should bring up the 'load saved mapping field' option straight away. cheers

We had a similar suggestion from Brian S on the 2.1 roadmap. I've included this in the work we're doing (in 2.1) to allow mapped exports for all the components. So all exports (including core contact export) should allow user to select a saved mapping on step 2 and load it directly.
