I'm stumped (without having the time to dig through the code). I cannot figure out why my membership dashboard isn't showing all of my members.

When I search for membership contributions I have nearly 600 people who have made a membership contribution in the past 8 months. However, the membership dashboard is only showing 250 new members and 40 renewals. Where are the 350 memberships that don't appear as either renewals or new memberships? This makes me not particularly trust the numbers in the dashboard...
