Hey all!

I want to be able to have certain information excluded from the member directory on a per user basis.

For example, I want to make it so that one user can be displayed in the directory, but not list their telephone number or email.

Is this possible? If so, how do I do it?

Potentially you can choose to have different location types for addresses you want to display & those you want kept private & only add the displayable addresses to the profile fields

I want to be able to do it on a per-member basis.

Say one member wants to have their phone number displayed but not their email.

Eileen is suggesting that if you have a 'public listing' email/phone location and a 'private' email/phone location then let people decide which fields they fill in, then potentially you get what you are asking for.

otherwise the answer is, not currently and no signs of others working or funding this.

if you have some resources to apply to this then i would expect others would be happy to chip in as to how to achieve this.
