We are unable to find a way of changing the end dates for existing/current members on our system, we have been able to change the dates on the membership, however this seems to only change the dates for any NEW members that sign up to the system.

When an existing member renews their membership for another fixed year the renewal end dates revert to the end date that was first set when the system was setup. 

New members, the start date becomes 1st July and ends 30th June one year on (correct)
Existing members, renewals, the start date after renewal becomes from 1st september and ends on 31st August (incorrect, this was the old start and end dates)

We have found however that if existing members change their membership type when renewing then the system will allocate the new start and end dates from 1st July 2012 to the 30th June 2013.

I have also looked into Grace and Current status' but no luck in sorting this with test cases.

basically, is there a way of doing a bulk change in all existing members profiles to change the start and end dates so that when they renew their membership they will fall in line with the correct NEW membership dates between the 1st July 2012 and 30th June 2013.
