Change smart groups into normal groups

Hi there!

I'm making some rearrangements in the way I've structured things in CiviCRM.

I have about 200 smart groups and I don't want them to be smart groups any more, but just normal groups. Is there a way to do that? Some API call or in MySQL?
Since I'm also removing all users it doesn't matter if the users in the smart groups drops out of the group if it is changed to a normal group.

The reason I'm asking is that I'm "lazy", and I don't want to make all 200 groups again :)

you should be able to do this in mysql and a fair bit of it via the api

the smart groups have an associated record in civicrm_saved_search tables, so make sure you delete the record there
