I just posted this suggestion on lobo's blog post about paypal's sandbox really sucking it up. I figured it would be infinitely more appropriate here in the feature request.

Tax & Shipping Calc.
Electronic Softgoods Download module (possibility of an electronic "gift" download after donation???)
Recurring billing
"Comprehensive" transaction reporting
Less than 6 secs per transaction.

I have no idea if this is good or bad. All I know is this is the processor we use on our current website.

One of our criteria if a significant international presence. I suspect this disqualifies most of the payment processors. We do have quite a few other alternative payment processors in CiviCRM (authorize, moneris, google, iats). Currently we support paypal and google, the rest are community contributed

Is there a plugin for YourPay Gateway or is one in development that anyone knows of?  YourPay is a division of FirstData, so I'm not sure if that would work.

Can someone offer some help or suggestions on how to get our processor to work with CiviContribute?

Your best bet would be to contact someone from http://civicrm.org/professional/ and get them to do a payment processor for First Data. Eileen on the forums has done a fair number of them in the recent past
