wrong image path when upgrading (3.x to 4.2)
September 03, 2012, 04:19:56 pm
I've just upgraded on Drupal 6 from 3.3.5 to 4.2. Everything is working fine except all the images are broken, even the ones used on the menu toolbar.

For example, on the 'administration console' screen, the image tag is pointing to "i/TreePlus.gif" when it should be pointing to "sites/all/modules/civicrm/i/TreePlus.gif"

Where do these images get their paths from? The base URL is just the domain, as CiviCRM is installed on the domain root. This is correct and the same as it is for other working installations. So what do I do to change the paths for images?

Any help would be appreciated :)

This is interesting. I don't know what the problem is precisely but no one else has answered anyhow. :(

It may have to do with something in the settings table. First, did you remove all templates and Config.IDS.ini?

Second, to debug, you could try to install 4.2 fresh into a different database and make sure it works there. Then compare the civicrm_settings table.

Thanks Hershel,

I think the problem was to do with the database migration. I must've copied the wrong cache tables in, and they were pointing everything to the wrong location. I ended up installing a completely fresh Drupal 6 and CiviCRM 3.3.5 before upgrading, and that seemed to work.

Thanks for the time!
