Custom Fields - Not Showing Up On Searches
September 04, 2012, 01:34:16 am
Hi,

I set up custom fields and added it to my contribution page.  When I searched my donations I so the fields nicely.  But now people are contributing and I can't see the custom fields anymore through "Find Donations",  I can only see the fields if I export the details...  Any ideas why?

Hi avielchen,

Go to Administer-->Customize Data and Screens-->Custom fields, pick one of you field sets and view it's fields. Now make sure you have their Visibility set to Public. If not, they will not show when you are searching.

If this isn't the case, Check to see if you have any ACL conflicts that are keeping you from accessing this Field.

Hope this was helpful.

Cheers! Jason
