FIXED: 4.2 Membership fields not submitting in online contribution/membership

Joomla 2.5.6
CiviCRM 4.2

This was working in 4.1.*

Membership fields (either custom or system) are not being submitted in online membership contribution.
Values are blank on receipt and no values are submitted to the database.
Confirm and Thank You do show the values.

Data is now being submitted but still not showing in the email receipt.
Please see screen shots from recreation on http://joomla.demo.civicrm.org/ using the demo preset membership contribution.
Document everything!
