RSVP Emails

I am not sure where to put this so I am placing it here:) We want to be able to send out RSVP invites in an HTML email that a person can click on yes or no and it will track it in Civi if they were invited and if they are coming or not. Is this something I can do in Civi?

Not directly, but might be able to get that directly if we were able to send the event info as an ical (I think that's how outlook/gmail go it)

Do you think it's something you could work on or help sponsor?

I have never done that before, but maybe if I get time I can look at it. We could possibly help sponsor if there are others on board as well.

Thought about another kind of way: you can send a link to a registration form that is pre-filled with their contact details.

It has some limitations:
1) they need to answer within 8 days of the invitation
2) additional people can register themselves too, not only the ones you invited
3) and that's positive anssers only (no registration of "I'm not coming"

Might help you anyway?

Still think the "real RSVP" is a feature that would be great to add ;)
